Professional Brake Components

Out of all the components you can change or upgrade, brake pads are such a small part. But the role they play is one of the most important.

Compounds: Choose from organic, semi-metallic, or sintered compounds Compatibility: Our brake pads provide a direct fit for your caliper and are a direct, drop-in replacement Color: Add a bit of customization with a splash of our signature turquoise color

Organic Brake Pad PROS: Strong initial bite, easy to modulate, quietest CONS: Faster wearing, prone to fade under intense braking, not ideal for adverse conditions (wet, mud, etc.)

E-Bike PROS: Strong initial bite, quiet, reduced wear and more heat resistant CONS: Faster wearing, prone to fade under intense braking, not ideal for adverse conditions (wet, mud, etc.)

Semi-Metallic Brake Pad PROS: Great initial bite, easy to break-in, quieter CONS: Wears faster than sintered, not ideal for adverse conditions (wet, mud, etc.)

Sintered Brake Pad PROS: Longer lifespan, work better in all conditions, can handle higher temperatures CONS: Longer break-in period, lower initial bite

Organic: Organic pads provide very high braking power in a lower temperature range, making them ideal for use in flatter areas or on less intense descents. Organic pads are also the quietest.

E-Bike: E-Bike pads provide a strong braking power in a lower temperature range, making them ideal for use in flatter areas or on less intense descents. E-Bike pads are also quiet.

Semi-Metallic: Combining organic and metallic compounds creates a brake pad that is more heat resistant while offering the strong initial bite of an organic pad. Semi-metallic pads are perfect for cross country, enduro, and trail riding in all weather conditions. Suitable for e-bike use.

Sintered: A fully metallic compound offers extremely high heat-resistance, making them ideal for long, steep downhill sections. While noisier, metallic pads provide the strongest amount of braking power.

How do I install my brake pads? 1. Clean disc caliper and surrounding area if necessary. 2. Remove used disc pads and clean any remaining dirt from behind the pad. 3. It is advisable to completely clean and de-grease all brake components and disc braking surfaces before fitting your new pads. 4. The brake pistons should be retraced to their maximum adjustment. 5. Install your new disc pads and fit new retaining clips/spring, if possible. 6. Check and tighten all mountings and fixings according to the manufacturers specification.

If you have any doubt that you're not able to install and setup your disc pads correctly, we recommend you have the new parts fitted by a qualified mechanic at your local bike shop.
